BoffBand hair ties: Promoting positive change
BoffBand hair ties were initially created to sponsor a program of internship, but the funds collected by it allowed us to also sponsor monthly donations to AYP (Africa Yoga Project) from $100 to $300 dollars throughout the whole year of 2015.
From such success, I realized that this method of fund raising could help not only this one project, but many others. So, we started spreading our wings... we are now also focused on donating BoffBands to those in need of reaching their charity goals.
The thing here is that in such a small object as a hair tie, we have managed to find a beautiful way of creating this flow of giving and receiving, returning the financial help by offering BoffBands, creating what I believe a beautiful cycle of love. The raw material for these hair ties is inexpensive, and to manufacture them is actually the fun part for me, besides a lovely opportunity to serve in support of positive change.
That being said, the success of Boffband hair ties is due to all our supporters out there. They have believed on us from the beginning, showing trust and continuing to contact when in need of reaching their beautiful goals - and the list just keeps growing. And last but not least, a very sincere acknowledgment to all of those that helped us create the brand, giving many name suggestions, logo designing, help promoting, manufacturing and expanding the brand and much more. Together, we have created a gorgeous BoffBand community. And I couldn't be more inspired by you.
